Wouldn't you just know that as the price of the ticket to fame and glory Reagan's machine would ask of our Black Mr. President, one small token, the backknifing of a copy editor like Ward Moore of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, just a trifle, to show his Harvard regard for the nature of reality.
