How To Obtain a Disabled Parking Permit in South Carolina
by King Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at 11:53 AM

If you have a disability or have a family member that has limited walking ability, you can apply for a disabled parking permit. Take note, however, that a license plate is only issued to a vehicle that is owned by the person with disability or by a family member living in the same house as the disabled person To qualify, a person must be testified as having a temporary or permanent disability by a licensed physician. It must be also certified in this section that the vehicle will remain insured within its registration period. South Carolina issues disabled parking permit (either license plate or placard) to its residents with disability. Dorjee
