A young student at the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais in Brazil, in September created a social network and chat called PLIF. academic goals with the site had a good acceptance by students and teachers and has become a strong competitor to Facebook and Twitter that were used for the dissemination of any information or matter concerning the Federal Institutes.
The site in its first month http://www.plif.com.br got 15 thousand accesses in Brazil and plans to increase this number with online advertising.
Now the website struggle to win the hearts of fanatics Facebook and Twitter.
