Pittsburgh to host G20
by gwen Thursday, May. 28, 2009 at 3:55 PM

Pittsburgh is to host G20 on September 24 and 25 Downtown at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.

Washington DC announced the afternoon of May 28th, 2009 that the G20 global leaders summit will be held in Pittsburgh, PA on September 24 and 25, 2009. They chose this location due to its recent comeback from the loss of its steel industry and because of its commitment to Green practices.

More information about the decision in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Oh my, we now must brace for the onslaught of wanna-be activists and anarchists who think that they have a cause, but don't walk the walk, so to speak... They will protest, then go back home to mommy and daddy, who pay for their tuition, room, and board.

Are you a cop, troll, or butthurt liberal? Cause there were people from all sides of the spectrum on the streets during the G20 summit in London. Perhaps that's because they have less division and conquering going on from within the movement (cough cough). Oh boy, so the people cant go home after the summits or it isn't considered 'walking the walk'. You heard it everybody... if you plan to come from out of town or state, then you better stay here for good if you want permission to demonstrate in OUR city.

For those out of towners who I know will be here for the G20 you may not have a home here but I will gladly host some people at my house, as a safe haven, place to recoup, grab some grub or just a cup of coffee. If anyone needs a ride from the bus stop or the airport feel free to e-mail me. I don't have a ton of space but will do what I can to accommodate people.
