May Day Bike Ride
by bike bloc Friday, Apr. 28, 2006 at 11:08 AM

Meet us in Friendship Park 5/1/06 @ 3pm as we ride to support the general strike, immigrant's rights, and to celebrate our heritage of resistance.

where was everyone?

there was no one in friendship park at 3pm on may day. in fact, there was no one there at 2:45, when i showed up. did everyone leave early? if so, bad call. don't say 3pm if you plan on leaving at 2:30 or whatever. or was i just the only person there?

Sorry, I put out the call, under the mistaken assumption that the lifestylist bike punks (spiny hipsters)would show up since it was later than 2pm, but they must have been busy tighetening their pants and putting spikes on their clothes to distinguish themselves from the non-spiny North American hipster.

I sincerely apologize, I thought that in the interest of wearing dumb shoes with no socks so everyone intentionally sees your nasty ankles I could post this call. Fuck marches, bike rides are cooler. Viva La Revolucion. Hasta La Vista. Baby.
