This audio comes from the fifth annual Palestine Solidarity Movement Conference held Feb 18-19 at Georgetown University in DC. Attendence was in the hundreds, and included students, activists, and academics. The topic of this opening speaker panel was "Divestment as a Tactic." The three speakers were Noura Erekat (founder of the first campus divestment campaign in UC Berkeley), Philip Farah of the Holy Land Christian Ecumenical Foundation, and Sue Blackwell, a professor at the University of Birmingham who is also an organizer with the UK Caterpillar divestment campaign. Will Youmans, aka the Iron Sheik, moderated. Audio part one includes Noura Erekat and Philip Farah; part two is Sue Blackwell and Q&A.
